Ranch Sorting Shows

Our Ranch Sorting Shows are the competitive events with cash paid out to top placements at each event. Events are also scored with top total aggregate scores receiving year-end awards and prizes. In 2019, the top prize for each division were beautiful custom silver and gold buckles, with custom bronc halters awarded to second place winners of each division.

There are 7 shows scheduled in 2020. To qualify for year-end prizes riders must compete in a minimum of 4 shows.

OPEN, BEGINNING RANCH HAND* & AM/NOV CLASSES – ROUND ROBIN FORMAT FOR OPEN AND AM/NOV

PAY BACK AT EACH SHOW (50%) FOR ALL CLASSES  – PRIZES AWARDED AT THE END OF THE SEASON (Riders Must Participate in a minimum of 4 shows to be eligible for year-end prizes)
*Beginning Ranch Hand class- the Sorter must be designated and be rated a 2 or under. The Gate person must be rated a 3 or above. The Gate person is not allowed to enter the herd other than to turn back cattle, or the team will be disqualified. This is a Pick class; riders must build and register their own teams.
